  • Israel Entry/Covid Requirements

Do I need a PCR test before landing in Israel? - What did the comment mean about "a connecting flight/layover time/PCR test" on the WhatsApp chat from your Israeli travel agent? Yes. Take a PCR test in the 72 hours before the flight or arrival at the Israeli border crossing. You must present an official document with the negative test result and your passport number. If your itinerary includes a connecting flight to Israel and the layover time between the first flight and the flight landing in Israel is more than 24 hours, you are required to take the PCR test in the 72 hours before the departure of the flight landing in Israel. 3. What address should I use as my quarantine address? You may use your local hotel address. 5. Do we have to immediately go to the hotel room from TLV airport and stay there until we get our test results? Yes 6. What if I test positive? If you test positive, the quarantine time is 5 days. 7. Will we test before returning to the US? Yes, antigen tests will be conducted during lunch on April 29 at the Mitzpe Hayamim Hotel. If you are leaving prior to 4/29, please let us know and we will ensure that you can take a test before you depart. Entry Instructions 1.   • If I am a US Citizen, do I need a visa to travel to Israel?
    Per the US State Department website, a tourist visa is not required for stays less than 90 days.
  • How far in advance should I book my flights?

  • Do you have a travel agent you use?

  • What about security in Israel?
    We will have cycling guides who have served in the Special Forces in the Israeli Army! And, they are very handsome. There will be quiet security at the evening events.

  • What power adapters do I need?
    Israel operates on a 230V supply voltage and 50Hz. For Israel there are three associated plug types, C, H and M. Plug type C is the plug which has two round pins, plug type H has three pins in a triangular shape and type M has three round pins.
  • Should I bring high heels or dress shoes?
    No high heels necessary — casual, fun, relaxing and comfy clothes preferred. See our Trip Attire page for more details.
  • Can I bring birthday gifts?
    No birthday gifts please — we’ll let you know of charities that would do far more good than any gifts to us.
  • What's the weather like in April in Northern Israel?
    Mild - warm days and cool evenings, 60’s and 70’s
  • What if I have dietary restrictions?
